In Loving Memory...

Sadly, Coco gained her Angel wings during an extreme heat wave, combined with severe smoke conditions from wild fires to our North, in August 2017.  She was only 6 points away from her AKC GCH Bronze title, which we had planned to finish by showing her in the Veteran's classes.  Please read below to learn more about her incredible accomplishments.

Coco was bred by Penelope Liebeler and Rick Fellows of Pensrick Cavaliers.  She is a smaller feminine type Cavalier weighing in at 14 - 15bs.  She is a sporty, and happy girl who loves everyone, everything, and gained her Canine Good Citizen title at only 9 months of age.

Physically slow to mature, Coco finished her AKC championship with a bang at the age of 4 years old. In February 2015 she won her last major at a Specialty not just by going Winner's Bitch, but by also taking Best In Specialty Show!  Then in April 2015 at the Cavalier National Specialty, Coco entered the ring as a new Champion and was awarded the 1st AOM under the well respected breeder judge, Kevan Berry, and also took back to back BOS at the consecutive large specialty shows that followed the Nationals.

By May 2015, Coco finished her GCH after winning multiple Best of Breeds and a Group 4.  In June 2015, Coco gained her Canadian Championship after only showing over a single weekend, winning a Canadian BOB and a Group 3rd along the way. Since then, Coco has gone on to take additional AKC group placements and consistently ranked among the top 20 Cavaliers in the US, often times as the #1 Black and Tan bitch. Coco and her Junior Handler, Malynn Johns, also became the first Cavalier junior team to not only qualify for the Westminster

Juniors ring in 5 years, but the ONLY Cavalier Juniors team to date, to win the preliminaries and compete in finals.  They were even featured on our local King5 news!  Then after traveling to the UK to compete at Crufts and  a Club Championship show, Coco earned her studbook number by placing at the show and is also lifetime qualified for Crufts. This girl is our little superstar and we are so proud of her, she is one in a million.
