LockeStar Cavaliers

Sirius is owned by Susan Lockleer and co-owned with Alisha Lockleer (LockeStar) and Sarah Sweetman (Kazuri)  He was bred by both Sarah and Alisha.  Sirius is an athletic, VERY intelligent, loving, outgoing, and stunningly beautiful boy with an excellent temperament.  He is extremely willing to please, always happy, and has never met a stranger he didn't like.

Sirius' sire "Loki" comes from a long line of Cavaliers with good MRI scans and living heart clear well into older ages.  His dam "Arrow" also had a superior MRI scan. With his pedigree, temperament, and breed type, we believe Sirius has a lot to offer to our breeding program.

Sirius started off his show career with a bang.  From the ages of 6 - 9mo old, he was awarded a puppy-match Best of Breed and a Group 2nd, picked up several Reserve Winner's Dog placements and a puppy Best of Breed and Group 4th.  When the 2017 ACKCSC National Specialty and Regional Specialty shows came around, Sirius at 10 months old placed in all his large competitive classes with a 4th at the Nationals and back to back 1st placements at the following regional specialty shows, including a Best Puppy in Show under judge Katie Sloan.  Soon after, Sirius picked up Canadian points and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Best Puppy in Sweeps.

 

As this lovely boy grew up, we were thrilled when he passed his MRI scan, and even more so when he finished his AKC CH in style by going Best of Breed from the classes two days in a row while also picking up a lovely Group 4th placement and a Bred by Exhibitor Group 1st.  Sirius was exclusively shown from the Bred By class to gain his crown.  Only a few months after this title he gained his GCH, followed by his RATN and CGCU. Susan has continued working with him and earned additional titles in Barn Hunt and his Rally Novice.  We simply couldn't be more proud of our handsome boy, his health, and his accomplishments.  To date he has sired some beautiful, typey puppies with his bombproof temperament.
