LockeStar Cavaliers

Truman was bred by Sarah Sweetman of Kazuri Cavaliers.  His mother is Arrow - LockeStar Love Struck, CGC and his father is Blake - GCH Orchard Hill True Enough.  He is an absolute doll, very sweet and loves his toys and belly rubs!

This little black and tan guy was born absolutely stunning, and is now growing up to be even more stunning.  As we were able to see his body develop we knew he was a very promising puppy, especially with his mother's trademark excellent temperament. 

 

Little Tru debuted in his very first show at 6mo of age where he won his puppy class 5/6 times he showed!  That is a lot of showing to pack into one weekend, but we were thrilled with how much he enjoyed it, as having fun in the ring can be a challenge in itself for young puppies.

At 7mo of age Truman appeared in a Starbucks commercial.  See the video here!  Shortly after at 8mo of age, Truman traveled to Cape Cod to compete at the 25th Anniversary Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club National Specialty show, where he was awarded an amazing 3rd placement among 15 puppies in his class, and given a lovely critique from the judge.  At the Nationals, little Tru also earned his Canine Good Citizen title.  He is such a good boy, when he wants to be!  Truman has gone on to earn his first single 3 AKC points, a Puppy of Achievement certificate, and finally a huge Best of Breed (over 3 specials) for a 5 point major, all from the 9 - 12mo class!  Furthermore, he has dabbled in the sport of Lure Coursing, specifically Fast CAT, and has shown extreme promise.  I definitely see another title in his near future, since points are not official until 12mo of age!

 

So far this puppy has "truly" blown us away with how much he has accomplished in such a short amount of time.
